Coasters in Publications

Just a little note, 'Graduating Engineer & Computer Careers' had a 'byte' in its Winter 2002 issue called 'The Thrill is Gone.' The short selection mentioned the Stratosphere coaster and how the 120 mph ride was rejected by a 3-2 vote. Yes, its old news, but interesting to see it mentioned.

Here is what I really wanted to mention, though. There was a Special Issue of Southern Living called Southern Living Favorites, featuring 'The Best 202 Things About the South.' There was a roller coasters category, and believe it or not, here are the 4 they listed:
-The Titan, Six Flags Over Texas
-The Wild Thing, Lake Winnepesaukah
-The Galaxi, Dixie Landin'
-The Grizzly, Paramount's Kings Dominion

I hope this provides you hours upon hours of laughter. A galaxi? And, just to note, the Wild Thing at Lake Winnie is the L&T Systems wild mouse. Cmon', you would at least think they would put the Cannonball!
