Coasters at night

Hello, this is my first post here and hopefully this is an alright question to ask... does anyone know where I can find some pictures of roller coasters and/or thrill rides taken at night? They always seem to look best at night for some reason plus they are always great for a wallpaper.

First off, Welcome to Coasterbuzz. I am not sure of any good sites to find night pictures at though...

FinchFanatic...does your name have to do with the band Finch by any chance? Saw them at The Globe awhile back, they rock.

Coaster Counter: 80+...I need to sit down and figure it out :)

Out of topic: Why yes, yes it does actually and thanks for that comment about the band, i'm sure Nate, Alex, Alex, Randy and Dereck would appreciate it. Anywho, yeah Randy's my neighbor and the rest of the band live less than 2 miles from here in all direction. A couple of the NFG guys live here also as well as a couple guys from Unwritten Law.

ok, back to the topic... thanks RubberDucky, i've heard a lot about this place (both good and bad) and hopefully this place is as nice as RCT Station is.

Ummmmm...I think that Twisted Rails (www.twistedrails.com) has some excellent shots of X at night. That's about the only one I can think of right now.

I have a couple of Talon on my site (see my signature) - scroll to the bottom of the page for the pics. I have a ton more that'll be up when the site "officially opens".

Man you're lucky. The last 2 CDs I bought were NFG and Unwritten Law. Anyway, it's pretty hard to find decent pictures of coasters at night, many don't turn out well for obvious reasons. I've seen a few before, but very few good ones.

Hey......you can go to http://joyrides.com/cedar_point/full/millennium_force4.htm. That is a sweet night picture of Millennium Force. I went to Cedar Point for the first time and rode Millennium Force twice. It was awesome!!

Nitro is the best!!

If I ever get a digicam I'll take some of PKI and send them in somewhere, but the thing about PKI is Son of Beast, Racer, and Vortex are the only ones with Chaser lights. So you really wouldn't be seeing to much. I looked around for a bit for ya, but didn't find anything.

Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?

Thanks for looking for some for me guys, really appreciate it. Anyways, Lord Gonchor, thanks for the link to your site with the night pictures... that last one of Lazer is really cool and is now my wallpaper.

Cool!

The neat thing about that pic is if you look close at the lift, the is a long blur from the bottom to just about where the drop goes in fromt of the lift. That's the train going up the lift.

You can also make out Talon's lift hill and part of the loop if you look closely.

I have pictures of Legend in there that I took during SRM at night. I don't think it's exactly what your looking for but they're night shots.

P.S. NFG and FInch rule.

You can hear the laughter, you can hear the mighty roar. From the brickyard down in Indy to the white Chicago shore. It's a rollin', twistin', turnin' and might we both suggest. You get you fanny ridin' on the Cornball Express!

Thanks CornballFreak for the Legend pictures, I don't have many ones of that particular coaster and yeah, Finch rocks and so does NFG but they're jerks in person (NFG).

My two favorite coasters are named Superman.
