Coasters: 60 - 0 mph in no time...

Spent my labor day at Holiday World, and had a great time.  Everytime I see Legend stop dead from that breakneck speed, it amazes me that the whole station doesn't go "domino" into the ground.

Are there alot of coasters across the country that have dead stops from a high speed like that?  I know SOB has one and, to a lesser extent, King Cobra.  Any others?

Tonnerre de Zeus hits the brakes very hard; the whole brake run shifts a few feet forward.

Millennium Force hits the brakes going about 60 MPH, but since they're magnetic, there's no jerking motion.

SROS at SFDL also comes into the brakes rather fast but magnets again and not to mention Predator woo thats a doozy of a hard stop. You can feel the station shake when it hits the brakes.

Raven stopped pretty hard a couple times....it was a ride op in training:)

Ricochet: Bouncing to you in 2002, Only at King's Dominion!
Hypersonic hits the brakes going pretty fast and you jerk a little bit and it's really loud.
SooperDooperLooper at Hershey hits the break run very hard. My first time on it was a very unpleasent surprise.
Riddlers Revenge and Goliath at SFMM stop rather abruptly. I always make a point to yell "STOP!" at the precise time RR stops.

Many Schwarzkopf coaster hit the brakes extremely hard.  Examples are SooperDooperLooper, Laser, and Scorpion.  You ram into the brakes and come to such a quick stop you are thrown forward.  Very fun thing!  Hehehe.

Also, All 3 SROS's hit the brakes fast and slow right away...Millennium Force hits the brakes at 65 mph and slows in 2.5 seconds.  Those mag brakes are great!

Goliath/Titan's brakes are ridiculously abrupt.
Great American Scream Machine at SFoG.
Wildcat at CP, they even tell you to prepare for the fast stop.  They say Wildcat pulls 5 G's, I think it's on the stop (kidding).
Screamin' Eagle at SFStl used to stop on a dime but the last few years they seem to have made it more gradual. As someone else said GASM at SFoG is a real slammer.Ninja when running more than one train usually slams you pretty good too. (SFStl)

Monti @ Knotts had a hard stop one time when I rode it.  And to make matters worse, as soon as you julted forward and stopped in the station, the lap bar flew up.  I jerk forward because of the breaks and the next thing I know I beeing hit in the chin by the lap bar.  For the rest of the day I tried to keep myself against my seat so I wouldnt get hit again.  Alot of people were complaining about it that day, but it stopped when I went on it latter.
