Coaster/ride pix with Snow in them

Tuesday, November 13, 2001 4:02 PM
I have this awesome picture of the log flume ride at Kennywood during the off season looking onward to the final drop with snow all over the place. I think I found i on KPU or KB. Anywho, Since it's fall and Winter is coming upon soon (kinda) I was wondering if anyone has any other pictures like that. They really make good wallpaper background thingies.

Dan, how come?

Kara, you really love Shivering Timbers don't you? :) It's definitely on my 'to-ride' list.

I finally managed to track these images down. It's an article from Construction Digest on Mantis being built in the snow. Cover Contents Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Page 4

I sure wouldn't want to construct a building in the snow, but hey, if it was a coaster, would do so in the buff! :)

I once saw a picture of a scrambler surrounded by quite a bit of snow and it was operating! Maybe I'll try to dig it up again.

What gave you that idea:)? Timbers is my baby. 190 more days until it opens; I don't know if I'll make it!

I have a real nice pic of Alton Towers covered in snow taken during off season, no coasters in sight,  but the towers and lake look real nice. I don't have time for a page, but mail me if you want.......

That's amazing.  I wish PKI stayed open like Tusenfryd.  Then I could have The Beast in the snow!

Oh wait, we did that three weeks ago. :)

Thanks for showing that pic GoldRushe.
