They've had a note up for a couple of weeks that they would be down while they switch servers and redesign the site.

Actually, The site is moving here: http://coasternet.megacoasters.com/ It will open August 1st
Damn. I wish I check earlier! I cant wait til it opens, thats 1 of my favorite rct sites!

I guess they think they are too good for coasterbuzz... the hosting here rocks, I dunno why anyone would want to leave.

I know what you mean there because it seems their affiliation with coasterbuzz didn't last long.

The site is going through it's annual upgrade and switching affiliates and should be up and running again by august 1st,at least that's what their little messages said.

Their affiliation ended with CoasterBuzz because I ended it. I just felt the site didn't fit into our collection of niche special interest sites.

and hopefully many laps to come on the chiller with lap bars!!!!

He is a moron because he gives people a load of space and bandwidth and pays for it out of his pocket? Some people may consider him to be a moron for that, but not in the sense you mean ;)

Megacoasters doesn't have all these annoying adds everywhere and there's basically no space limits and bandwith you'll never run out of.

Being one of the new "helpers" of the site its gonna be very good with some new features *hint hint* that i get to work with.

I dunno... I've been working on SFWoA Online for about a year, and this is the best hosting we've ever had.

Also, I never liked Coasternet in the first place... they kinda turned me off when they listed a 2003 coaster as 'confirmed' for Kennywood, and didn't even mention Exterminator on the coasters list.

Yea, I really, really wish I had hosting as consistant as Jeff's. Let me tell you, going out and trying to find a host (and paying for it) can be complete hell if you get a bad host, and I certainly, undoubtedly, got stuck with one for wayyy too long.

Just cut it off a week ago. :)

I don't complete agree with Jeff's choices, my site rocks SFDL: Ultimate Guide's world ( www.sfne.zzn.com ) and he won't even give me a chance, not even a LINK. SFDL:UG has been @ 85% completed for what, 3 months now is it? I had the first pics on the internet of S:RoS' new train in operation (I know, not a big deal) and I have the biggest SFNE Photo Gallery on the web but am I good enough for him? Nooooooooo. What's up with that?

If Jeff wants to open this back up to reply, thats fine. Until then, people are not going to dog him on his own site.

Closing.
