Coastermania online registration open

That was quick and pretty easy. I don't see how it will save any time though, you still have to go there and show them all your IDs and cards, etc. I also expected them to ask for Season Pass numbers or something, but they didn't. I was hoping this would keep me from having to be there and awake at 4:30am, but now I don't think so.

Special note though, if you are a season pass member and are thinking of going to CoasterEXT the next day you have to pre-register to get in free to that event.

I guess I do not see any benefit to this online registration. Especially for season pass holders.

Pre-registering also makes CoasterEXT cheaper or free, depending on if you are a pass holder or not. If you are a pass holder, do yourself a favor and pre-register for both events at the same time. Even if you aren't sure you will go to CoasterEXT this will at least make it free if you do decide.

Pre-registration helps them Figure out about how many people are planing of showing up. Also, For non-season Passholders you will buy the tickets online and print them. So when it comes time to check in at the gate you only have to give them the ticket and your Membership Club Card.

Yeah, because God knows we're all better off for it now than if it had gone up in May.

The date was announced almost three months ago. What does being able to register early have to do with getting time off?

Maybe some coaster enthusiasts would only go if they knew that they were going to get the drink cup. :)
