Cedar Point's annual park-sponsored enthusiast event, CoasterMania, will be held in September instead of the traditional June. The event will take place on Saturday, September 18, and includes exclusive ride time on Dragster, Wicked Twister, Raptor, Millennium Force and Magnum. Lunch is free.

The event is open to members of all enthusiast clubs, including CoasterBuzz Club (join today for just $20).

Hmmm.... No Q&A session this year? I hope they add it, as that is always one of the highlights of Coastermania.

Consider it lucky they didn't cancel it outright...
I was hoping it would go till 1:30 Am or whatever again like last year, eh well, still can't complain.
Speeking of Coastermania, whens Beastbuzz?

What a great birthday present! (BeastBuzz, that is) :)
Next question is, will ACE's Northwest con (dates "TBA in September") conflict? That one is planned to include the elusive Puyallup Fair, and so it's a must-do for me.

If they're on different weekends, there's no way I'll miss CoasterMania. It may be crowded, but it's always a good time...

Joey,
it doesn't go until 1:30, true, but on the date of coastermania, the park closes at 8 instead of 10 as it would in June. So ERT might end two hours earlier, but the park closes two hours earlier, too.

Greg, glad to hear you'll be coming to get that elusive C:TR credit. I'll be right there beside you.
Shoot I can't make it - it cuts into the Cross Country season this year. :(
I like the fact that they are going to open just for coaster clubs on Friday from 6-11.

Timberguy, it is not just for coaster clubs on Friday. That is a normal scheduled date. The special is that they are giving coaster club members a $4 dicsount off of their standard price for that night
Good luck with the staffing, it's going to be rough on ride crews having it in the fall. But on a Saturday will help out a bit, though you can expect some of the smaller coasters to be running fewer trains.
Hey I've already got my season tickets to Cedar Point. Do they give me back $4.00?
I got a question? So you buy your ticket at the door with your CBUZZ club card. So there is no registring like beastbuzz or the one a great america. Right?
And, was it restricted to coaster clubs last year?
