CoasterMania! 09 - day 2

My friend and I left St. Clair Shores at around 3:30 in the morning and arrived at Cedar Point at about 6:05 a.m.

We arrived at the front gate and got our badges and other goodies. Once we got inside the park we went to Millennium Force and noticed that the line was nothing like last years line in morning ert (that's why CP should have had more rides open in the morning like last year). We got only 2 rides on Millie(both yellow) before heading to dragster a little before 7. When we got to TTD the line was filled up to the end of the ramp but gradually died down throughout the ert session. We managed to get 4 rides in before the hotel guests came in at around 9. After the hotel guests were allowed in we decided to head towards Maverick and got front seat silver train.

Once we got off Mav it was close to park opening for the GP and headed towards Mean Streak. Huge Mistake! That had to be the bumpiest/painful ride I have ever been on. After our lovely "massage" on MeanStreak we headed towards Gemini and got a couple laps in. Once we got through with that classic we went to Magnum and I got the ejector seat. After that was a couple more rides, including back seat on Wicked Twister which is awesome, and headed to the Point Pavillion for some chow. We decided to hit dragster after lunch and it was fun as always. To sum up the GP hours we hit a lot of rides!

The evening ert was a lot of fun especially since they allowed re-rides (got to love the Raptor crew.) We got 6 rides on Raptor and on our 6th ride our train was stopped in the middle of the ride. That was a unique experience. We then had to walk down the spiral staircase and they took our names down so next time we visist we can skip the line for any ride.

Total Ride Count:
Dragster- 11
Millennium Force- 5
Magnum- 3
Gemini- 5
Maverick- 1
MeanStreak- 1
Mantis- 1
Raptor- 6
Wicked Twister- 1

34 coasters in a day sounds like a good time to me. We only got 44 in on that Saturday :)
