CoasterGallery.com adds Lakeside Amusment Park

Posted | Contributed by CaptainJoel

Just because most parks are closed doesn't mean that CoasterGallery.com is slowing down. Denver's Lakeside Park is the newest section of the gallery.

In addition to the new amusement parks, several new features have arrived on the site. Park descriptions and history are currently being added. More search options are included. Official news releases are also available from many of the parks.

During the winter, the gallery will expand with more amusement park and coaster history, reviews from gallery users, desktop wallpaper and screen saver files, and, of course, more pictures.

Very Nice pics.
Sounds like a good future for Coaster Gallery.

How come when I go to the site, I don't see Lakeside Amusement Park anywhere on the page? They have Lakemont in PA, but not Lakeside.
I don't know why you can't see Lakeside.  Everyone else seems to be viewing it without problems.   Try hitting REFRESH a couple times.  You might be looking at a page that is a couple days old.

Also, Lakeside is BESIDE Lakemont, not below it....

I got to it fine, and it has great pictures.  I wish they had some more pictures of the park itself, it really is a neat old-fashioned  park on a great lake.
Yay Lakeside! Too bad the coasters weren't running for you.

GO CU! Big 12 Champs!
Ater flying a couple of thousand miles to Denver, I was pretty bummed to find the park closed when I arrived.  I was there July so the thought never crossed my mind that the place would not be open.  I fully expected the guard to say, "Park closed!  Moose out front shoulda told ya."

I would have checked their website, but it said, "The specific dates for the 2000 season will be posted soon."  Their site still says that.  Notice I did not say 2001, I said 2000!

"Moose says you're closed, I say you're open!"
