I was just looking at it a minute ago and it said something about a new perspective coming to CoasterGallery. It got my attention but Joel hasn't told us much about what it will be about. They should be very good, probably of a new and exciting park. Hope Joel updates it soon.

All you need to know about SFDL and more.
Coming May 2002
You want a hint? Remember what Joel does for a living? If you figure that out, it should give you an idea of what is in store very soon.
Joel and I (plus maybe his wife) are going to get together for a few times for some coaster trips this summer with lots of picture taking. Since the concert season is ending soon I'll have lots of time to visit parks and hope to get to maybe as many as 10 new ones? We're not going to stop until we get every freaking coaster in America on that site! :)
We're thrilled our little site has so many visitors. It's nice to know people are visiting!

wait a second, what do you and joel do for a living?
I'm a musician (classical), I think Chris got what Joel does. Although we live 1000 miles apart, there's always time in the summer to get together and ride some coasters with our families!

Rob, I wouldn't count on it :( I would sure love to come out there though! Silverwood looks mighty sweet! I really want to go back to CA and swing up your way, but I'm afraid we might be staying east of the Mississippi.
So, we'll see. Unfortunately it's not all up to me. Although there's only 3 or 4 of us, it all depends on jobs, spouces, time, and $$$. Of course, I don't know how I'm going to practice 8 hours a day while on the road riding coasters. :) I have to get that CD recorded before the concert season starts up again, and I'm still learning some of the works!

OK..... Here come some answers to your questions:
Is CoasterGallery.com adding pictures? YES
When? Later today!
Are the new pictures unlike any other in CoasterGallery? Yes.
Are other parks going to be added this summer? YOU BET. Lots of parks!
And one correction....Peabody said, "We're not going to stop until we get every freaking coaster in America on that site!" Who said we are stopping at the US?

Aerial photos should be nice.
Sometimes it's fun to see things "from a different perspective".

SFEG awaits The Flying Coaster-coming in 2002!
Here you go...

Yes, there are some aerial shots. I also have a few pictures from this winter when the park was closed. It is always a little sad to see a dormant coaster covered in snow.
But as the temperatures climb and the parks reopen, www.CoasterGallery.com will be adding plenty of pictures, parks, and information.
Thanks again everyone for your interest. Keep checking back for the next additions to the Gallery!

Not MLK's words but mine..I have a Dream! I have a DREAM! I HAVE A DREAM!
I have a dream! That SFMM fans will be able to walk hand in hand with CP's!
AND no ONE cares what a coaster is and what a coaster isn't!
I wish I had my job back. Unfortunately, I am now five months into my unexpected 'unpaid vacation.' You think they let me circle the park in the B-727? (That would have been fun however!)
The good news is that the airlines are rebounding. The bad news is that they have still not recalled the 9,800 pilots on furlough yet. By next month, the airline I worked for will have recalled a little over 1,000 of the 10,000 employees it let go last fall. They are hoping to start recalling pilots at the end of this year.
{Sorry for being off topic... Can I make it up to you with even more pictures?}
So this summer, I am forced to drive to the parks. I won't have the geographic coverage that I wanted, but there will be plenty more parks. (Four parks in the SE will be visited next week....pictures later in May!)

It still hasn't been remodeld What are you talking about? We never said anything about remodeling the site! It's not going to be. When we find time to work on site we add picture. We don't care about fancy site design. I'm sure people would rather see new parks and coasters than fancy web gimmicks.

....those aerial shots are AWESOME! Thanks! Hope the whole job thing works out OK....
This is a park I've yet to get to, but WT and Excalibur certainly look like they'd make a visit worthwhile...
Thanks rollergater. I am glad you like the new pics.
The site is is not going to be remodeled. I am a firm believer that CONTENT is much for important that style. I am sure we have all seen websites that have a flashy home page, but don't have any content worth reading.
