I thought there was no child required to ride BLMR? I did it last year with no children, there were plenty of other no children adults riding as well.

Event sounds fun, too bad I'm skipping all that nonsense ;).

The Geauga Lake Website makes no mention of the fact that you must have a child to ride. On the contrary it specifically states that the ride is for the whole family to enjoy.

I know I'm going. I've never been to GL and this is the perfect opportunity.

I just got an e-mail from the park indicating that you do not need a child, so that info will be corrected in the flyer when it comes out.

Is this an event by the park (like Coastermania) or is this an ACE, Coasterbuzz, etc... event? *** Edited 3/31/2005 5:45:11 PM UTC by Trick Track***

It's a park event. Just to paint the big picture regarding the midwest Cedar Fair events...Coastermainia (CP) is 6/3, CoasterEXT (GL) is 6/4, Timbersfest (MA) is two weeks after on 6/17. It's going to be a busy June.

Some folks were asking over on PointBuzz, but this event is not free with a season pass. The event is $8.95 if you have a Geauga Lake eligible pass (CP with GL endorsement or other Cedar Fair pass).

I take it nothin has been released yet either for Timberfest at(MA) ?. I know i should be kicked in the chicken for this but, once all flyers are posted, I assume they will be accessable through here on the site?. Much like Coastermania is posted ?. I'm only asking this because last yr I wasnt a C-Buzz Club member, and didnt know how these event's worked.

The Timbersfest flyer has been out for a while. It was mailed with the last issue of ACE News. There is a PDF on the ACE website, but I don't think I am allowed to post a direct link.
Notice how the top of the page still says 2004. Way to go Mr. Barnhardt...
