Coasterbuzzer Jobs

As the theme park season picks up full speed, many of us seek employment at our favorite parks. This topic is simple : Where do you work now, and if you could switch jobs, which theme park would you want to work at?

Heck, I work at Chuck E. Cheese...but I'd really like to work at Carowinds.

I work for the Vindicator(a newspaper company in Youngstown). It sucks but at least it gives me money for amusement parks. I would like to work at either Cedar Point or Six Flags Magic Mountain. Mainly I'd like to be a ride op but just working at those parks would be cool.

I went to Carowinds' job fair and was going to apply, but my summer schedule is so full that I wouldn't be able to work much, so I probably wouldn't even be hired. Maybe next year.

I work at Target, But I'd want to work as a ride op at Cedar Point.
I work at COSI (a science museum in Columbus). My dream job would be a designer for new attractions (buildings, pathways, theming, etc.) at either PKI or WDW. A huge difference is setting but I love both places. Although it would be incredible to design coasters, my math skills are too sub-standard for that so that aint gonna happen. :)

If a theme park payed me anywhere near what I am getting paid now I would work there in a New York minute. That being said, I dont think it will ever happen :)

I work at VF. I want to stay working there for a career, but I don't know if I'll get a better job at some other place in the Twin Cities. It kind of depends on where I can get a job when I'm done with college next year.
I work at Kroger in GA, and I may work at SFOG (or hopefully CP) next summer.

-----------------
My two favorite coasters are named Superman.

I am recently laid off and will be starting film school in June. :)

-----------------
I've traded in my 2000 Giovanola for a 2002 Arrow X4D :)
My other car is now an Arrow X4D!

I am going to work at water country but I would like to work at six flags magic mountaion becasue it seems to be the best
I work for a company that runs group homes for adults with MR/DD (mental retardation/developmental disabilities) and although I would never leave them...I would like to work at either CP or WoA on the weekends or some nights during the week.

I am Information Technology Training Manager. I manage the IT training program and conduct classes in all levels of Microsoft Office, and do 2nd level support for MS Office problems here.

A summer or two at CP would definitely be awesome, as well as working for WDW any time. I'd have a blast being the guy who gives the safety instructions. I teach a lot, and I always inject some humor and sarcasm into my classes, which I'd defintely do with announcing as well.

TiggerMan, didn't realize you worked in my office...;). I do tech support mainly, but due to the level of technological incompetence in the medical field, I also end up doing an enormous amount of MS Office training and web training....

Since I have to check for our users to make sure the Internet is "up", ROFLMAO....I end up checking in here just to make sure....;). Seriously, the only job in the industry I would really want is to serve as a "theming consultant" on new and existing rides....since I can't even play the radio, rock star is out of the question....

-----------------
....teachin' people about towel safety and proper towel usage...it's important!

I work as a graphic designer in an agency in downtown Pittsburgh. Most of our clients are corporations. We design everything and anything from ads, websites, annual reports, logos, packaging, etc...

OK, since everyone is saying what they do and I didnt say earlier, I am Manager of Web Resource Development at a company that makes software for day to day pharmacy operations. Now you all know.

I would chuck it all and work in the amusement industry if I won the lottery or the amusement industry could promise me buku bucks. Like the guy from Office Space, I think I would like some mindless job. Put me on the speaker saying the same thing over and over all day on a coaster :)

I'm in my third year and fifth job in the wireless communications industry. It seems that I've gotten some kind of rep as a turnaround expert, so I keep getting headhunted. It's a drag on some levels, because I had to quit my band and I work more weekends than I would like.

If I could work at any park, I'd work as an Imagineer at Disney. I was a Disney nut long before I was a coaster enthusiast-I live in Ohio and this is my first year in six years that I didn't pony up $400+ for an annual WDW pass.
