Coasterbuzz stirring things up in Santa Cruz Sentinel

Santa Cruz Sentinel

I hope this wasn't already posted, but I looked and didn't find anything. Read the last two paragraphs of the article. And also- who's this Santa Cruz amusement park buff they mention?

I've often wondered from time to time, how to write good poetry- and make it all... Work.
Looks like it's Jeff's day for free publicity!

The whole issue is so ridiculous, typical Santa Cruz locals opposing any progress, I seriously doubt this ride will ever materialize. The whole bird issue is such BS, as they pointed out, much taller structures reside all over Santa Cruz, just an excuse from the locals to protest anything the Boardwalk tries to do.

Sad, cause if it wasn't for the Boardwalk and the millions in revenue it generates for the city, this dead end town would be nothing.

What a horrible quote to have associated with park enthusiasts. But hey, more hits for the site! I wonder if this ride gets made, will we see Fabio at the media day? ;-)

"Victory means exit strategy, and it's important for the President to explain to us what the exit strategy is." --Texas Governor George W. Bush, April 9, 1999, on the US intervention in Kosovo
Living in Santa Cruz, this whole thing has been total BS from the start.

That was probably the worst, most pitiful, most innane quote I've ever read.

Who, as a journalist, would quote something as stupid as:

"Finally, oh my God, my home park is gonna get a somewhat ‘big’ ride? It sucks it’s only gonna be 125 feet, but it’s better than the frog hopper they have now."

It's a very immature statement that sounds like it's coming from a 15yr old retard.

Here's the news item where the quote was found. With some of the good posts in there, I think the reporter was intentionally trying to find a bad quote. Of course, he could have picked the quote with the drug reference. :)

Even more funny is that "leodude" hasn't made a single post since.

I'm just wondering how birds have survived this many millions of years without dying off from flying *into* trees....;)

...and to think the reporter passed on a couple of bASS's finer posts...:(

They lay lots and lots of eggs. ;)

This is really sad. What a terrible quote. I have a feeling this journalist has a beef with Coasterbuzz. Now who went and hurt his/her feelings? ;)
