OK RCT fans... here it is!

I'm posting the screens and video today, Wednesday and Friday, so as not to get slammed with traffic all at once. Enjoy!

Nice videos. I like how the spinning mouse worked. The Top Spin looks like it had 2 issues. 1, it looked a little glitchy, and that's probably due to the preview build... but 2, the physics & cycle isn't as real as I previously thought from other movies. It just seems to defy gravity with a few too many spins.

If things keep on track, looks like it's going to be just a meer week until the game is released... definately something to look forward to!

Great article/shots and video, Jeff. Thank you

Yeah, I really like the sensation of the Spinning Mouse, and the block effects (that at least more of what I was hoping for.. then what was sampled from the official demo). It's funny how the coasters that don't use banks (like the mouse and hanging bi-plane) are actually better show off coasters for those that are not to crazy about the abrupt transitions changes.

Nice to see all the flat ride sizes relative to each other.

I think they used that build to do the preview videos or a make of that build. Everything seems in porportion screenshot wise. I havn't had the chance to see the videos but I'll look at those later. We are getting closer and closer to release!

Does that invert look familiar, or is it just me?

I don't know what you're talking about. :) Seriously though, I just hacked that together quickly, which is part of the reason it goes through the ground.

Well I think its nice that they recognized this site enough to send a preview build out. Says alot about the nice site Jeff has put together here.

That's because I asked for the preview.

I really hope you can turn screeming off. It made me laugh the first time, but I know it will just piss me off if I have to hear it multiple times.

Down is the new up.
That screaming kid sounds like he is being tortured. I kind of enjoy it.
I seen the video for the top-spin, It does not defy gravity! ;) i saw no glitches or flaws but unless someone would like to point them out to me? Anyways good job Jeff!

The Top Spin defies gravity several times. First of all, with the velocity of the main arms it wouldnt get the kind of spins it's getting. Secondly, on the second time the car is pitched upside down at the top arc of the swing, the car actually moves to that position instead of swinging to that position. Even if it did swing to that position, it would be nearly impossible for the brakes to catch the car in that position, and if it did it would cause a lot of damage to the brakes.

Certain victory.

Jeff would you mind listing the flat rides in the screen shot. The black tower ride looks like a Condor. There are a few others that aren't clear. Thanks

If you mean the ride at SFGAm in front of Superman, yeah, that's a Condor.

Just watched the video and the kid on the far left of the reverse hyper coaster looks way to short for the ride. :) Anyway, thanks for the videos.
