CoasterBuzz Podcast launches with first episode

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

CoasterBuzz is proud to post its first audio program, CoasterBuzz Podcast. This weekly show reviews the big news stories of the previous week and will generally include a special guest.

In the debut of CoasterBuzz.com's audio news show, we welcome as our special guest Paula Werne, the marketing director for Holiday World and Splashin' Safari. The panel takes on the following stories:

  • Dan Snyder versus Six Flags: Is he the right guy for the job?
  • Scooby Doo costumed character assaulted at Universal Studios Florida.
  • Paramount's Carowinds announces Boomerang Bay, water parks are great for parks.
  • Paramount's Kings Island announces Nickelodeon Universe.
  • National Geographic TV crew stops by Holiday World.
  • Construction of The Voyage continues at Holiday World, as well as the development of the park's new dark ride and new Thanksgiving themed area.

Oh, that's right Paula. I was so nervous, I forgot. ;)
It's about time we could hear coasterbuzz, and people's views, rather then reading plain text. I really got a grasp of how people thought of issues.
I think we should do an operetta version some week -- so you can hear us all sing, too.

I'm for a silent film version. You'll hear nothing but scratchy old piano for 30 minutes while we over-act and try to emote our take on things.

Then again, much would probably be lost in the audio only format. ;)

FYI, the CoasterBuzz podcast is now available through the iTunes music store.
SPeaking of which, Paula, will we be serenaded by you, Will, Pat and the rest of the managers on Saturday? ;)
Sorry, no singing. :)

I'm sick as a dog today ... may not even have a voice again by Saturday.

Wah!

I thought it was very entertaining. And I already know Gonch's name and HAVE stalked him.

Oh wait, he stalked me. I keep forgetting. ;-)

The whole podcast thing is new to me. If you guys need another female point of view, let me know! I have no life. ;-)

Not a bad listen at all, really.

I'll need to hear a few more shows before I form a full opinion though.

I was actually stalking Gator. You just happened to be at the wrong place at the right time. ;)

Woah. I just found out what 'that other show' was. Listened to this week (yuck), and then last week.

Definitly don't doing that again. I may end up with an unsolicited email...

^Gonch if you come to PFN this weekend I promise to stalk YOU this time. ;-)

Clint, both shows were awesome. The Podcast thing is very cool (and very new to me). It's geeky, funny, silly, and crazy. Can't beat that!
