"Next time, on a very special podcast-Dick Kinzel, CEO of Cedar Fair, comes clean about all those Rumors. Will he go out with a bang? Does he have a huge ego problem? And why is he so darn nice to us on the midway? With special guest Jeff Putz, Coasterbuzz Webmaster."
Sweet podcast! So far, one of my favorites, the other being the original podcast with Paula. Didn't realize that Dick Kinzel would be so personable, never having met him myself. Best part of the interview, to me anyways, was the story of riding the first train of Magnum, for the most part untested, and without the final trims set up. Good Stuff. I can only imagine coming to the end of magnum and not having any brakes after the bunny hops and turning towards the station. There's a lot of unused energy there.

Speaking of Magnum and Dick Kinzel's interview, was there ever any relationship between Arrow and Intamin? I heard Mr. Kinzel mention Intamin in relation to the design of Magnum. Listened twice just to make sure I heard correctly.

There was a couple times during the podcast when he mixed up a name here and there. And yes, I got to sit next to him through the podcast and was amazed at how nice and genunie a man of his stature was. Very easy to talk to, and very appreciative of the love and attention the enthusiast crowd gave him. The Red Gater Saloon was packed.

I noticed the few mix ups, but who cares, the guy is amazing.

Great questions Jeff and the rest of the crew. You got a lot of interesting comments from him in 35 minutes. I was happy to hear him talk about CP needing some help in a few areas. Operations is mainly the one everyone looks at and it's great to know the park has such a great leader who wants to get things done right. I loved the whole WWL property thing and the talk of CF hating wooden coasters.

Being a huge TTD fan, I wish he would've gone further with the frustrations with the ride, but I'll live.

By far my favorite Podcast to date. I really hope to meet Mr. Kinzel some day.

Good job, guys! Has anybody seen the new Cedar Fair website? Looks really cool!

since when is SFGAdv is in Chigcao? And since when did Intamin build Magnum?
^Since when does a CEO of a rather large company make mistakes, because there are many other things on his mind. It's coaster ethusiast he's talking to, we should know what he means anyway.
^^ Since when was it not ok for Human beings to make litle mistakes?
I didn't realize that they could have gotten Geauga Lake for so cheap. That would have been a deal for them. Of course they wouldn't have gotten Sea World at that point, but that probably would have prevented Six Flags from ever making a presence in Ohio. I wonder how much different the park would had Cedar Fair bought it originally.
