CoasterBuzz Podcast #50 posted

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Jeff, Greg and Pat review this week's news in the amusement industry.

  • Universal in Singapore: Does Western culture really work in Asia?
  • What we would do with exclusive ride time in the Magic Kingdom.
  • BMRX lands in Camelot. Greg says it's a Schwartzkopf classic.
  • Dark ride preservation, from Erieview to Conneaut Lake.
  • Time shares and the allure of Disney property with a view of the animals.
  • Pavilion bites the dust, the fences say keep out.
  • Horny costumed characters caught on tape at Disneyland Paris. The home office is not pleased.
  • Wyandot Lake has the luxury of taking a year off as it's better integrated with the Columbus Zoo.

Dude, what's your obsession with Tony? This is the second week you asked about him.

Hey Jeff,

Deff go to Animal Kingdom Lodge, I went there in 2001 and it was absolutly amazing. Hanging near the pool you can see the animals walk by!

Also, little tip, if you go during an off season, go and book the lower room, then ask for a savanah view, we got upgraded!

^^No obsession, just wondering when he is coming back. He said he would in a few weeks and just asking for an update since the announcement. I posted it again because no one answered my original post and the Podcast #49 isn't even on the main page anymore.

We don't have any significant reason to have him on again. Maybe later in the winter.
