CoasterBuzz Podcast #47 posted

Posted | Contributed by Jeff

Jeff, Mike and Pat review this week's news in the amusement industry.

  • Can you support a new theme park in Michigan, given its economy?
  • Arnolds Park is profitable three years running. Yay for giving credit to the general manager.
  • Kalahari opens a conference center in Sandusky. Jeff thinks this is a no-brainer for all indoor water park facilities.
  • Universal Florida vs. a union... for a trademark. The union rep is an unprofessional moron.
  • Cedar Fair backs the opposition for Ohio's slot machine amendment. The whole thing sounds like a raw deal for the state.
  • Valleyfair announces Renegade, a new GCI coaster.
  • Disney's Jungle Pirate Jam.
  • Check out BooBuzz 2006 at Cedar Point. Exclusive ride time on Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster!

The ending is probably one of the funniest ones that I can remember. Congrats on making it to one year. That's crazy that you actually stuck with it for that long Jeff.

Although I don't get a chance to read and post on Coasterbuzz too much anymore due to my busy schedule I do always manage to listen to the podcast every week. I like it because I can listen to you guys discuss the news around the industry while I do other things around the house. Thanks for keeping it up Jeff!
