Coasterbuzz club question

For a birthday present, my parents are giving me a membership to a coaster club. I am stuck between ACE and Cbuzz. I was just wondering if Cbuzz has anything planned as far as events go for next year, other than the obvious SRM and Coastermania, thanks
Well, for your birthday present why don't you get the ACE membership, and then buy the Cbuzz club yourself.

If you had to choose, sorry Jeff, go with ACE. It's just got more to offer!

Those two events you mentioned above plus the 2 Coasterbuzz only events.

1. Coasterbuzz Con 04: Park to be announced at a later date.

2. Beastbuzz: Always at PKI

Arena football has arrived in the Windy City. Go "Chicago Rush"

Isn't ACE the more expensive membership? Go with that and then scrounge your pennies together for the Coasterbuzz Club membership.

See those pop-up ads? You won't see them for a year as a club member.

CBC gets you into Stark Raven Mad, CoasterMania, Winter Solace, TimbersFest, and of course we'll have BeastBuzz again at PKI and CoasterBuzzCon might just end up out west. $20/year plus another five for each of up to five family members.

Any chance of an SFGAm repeat for CBCon2004? ;)

No, but I'm not entirely against the idea of having an even there again if they'll have us. We'll see.

Do it for the warm, fuzzy feeling it gives you.

I get most of my coaster news so I look at it as more like a subscription to a trade journal or newspaper.

If you want a magazine and a newspaper that are never on time. Rarely even within reason. But have the option to go to many more ACE only events which there are tons throughout the year then go with ACE.

Heck even ECC might be a viable option even though you are not a European. You will still get the same priviledges at most of the non-exclusive events.

It really is all about what you want to get out of the club you decide to join.

I would choose to let your parents pay for ACE as it is more expensive and then save your own money and pay for coasterbuzz.
Ace is well worth the money and i have found the magizene's/newletters to be very good even if they are late.

I've never quite understood joining clubs for the events, since no club I'm aware of closes off event to non-members, but instead charges a few bucks more. I've been to a few ACE events but never belonged to ACE. The memberships would not have offset the extra cost of attending as a non-member.

What I meant was I look at CB as my coaster news source and treat the membership cost like a magazine subscription. I seem to have left that out of my previous post.
