I did a google search for "RCfan13 Coasterbuzz" on Google a few years ago and it returned a few posts from a 13 year old kid who spent a lot of his internet time switching back and forth between Coasterbuzz and Danimation during the summer of 2000. I'm glad to see Coasterbuzz is still alive and well, and although that 13 year old kid is nearing 40, his love for thrill rides hasn't changed a bit. Congratulations to Jeff and the staff at Coasterbuzz for 25 years!
25 years? Holy smokes. I remember sitting in a back office of the Hotel Breakers and getting "online" with our first PC sometime around 1995 or so. I stumbled onto a couple of early fan websites and enjoyed reading so many of the wrong predictions as to what might be coming to Cedar Point (or the occasional "close" guess). Safe to say I had no idea how influential social media might become.
I'm pretty sure I read about the Cedar Fair Knott's Berry Farm purchase online and asked my VP about it. He gave me a sheepish look and asked me where I heard such a ridiculous thing and I told him, I saw it online.

I just realized I've been a CoasterBuzz fan for about half my life. :0

On April 21, 2001, I first Coasterbuzzed.
Sometimes I still do. (although it's rarely about the coasters anymore)
Edit - I got the date wrong. 😆
June 6, 2001. I thought I posted too much on here, until I saw Gonch's 18,000+ posts.
Now I don't feel so bad.

It's mostly nonsense. I've now posted 4 times in the last 12 hours.
This is post 18,067. Been here 8711 days.
2.07 posts per day for 24 years.
I hate you all.
Which is why we love you.

I know I’m not rich, but I didn’t think that I was so poor that Gonch hates me.

”I dont know what everyones problem is with Mean Streak, as long as you sit towards the front of the train the ride is a semi-enjoyable ride. Sure it doesn't have as much speed as it used too, and I can never recall feeling any airtime on it anyway; however it has great laterals and decent speed”
Man I was an idiot, probably a good reason I don’t post much

That's not how math works.

Also an active member and mod on the long defunct Danimation for their coaster and RCT stuff since 1999, I came across CoasterBuzz sometime in 2000 and browsed the forums here and there before I officially signed up on March 27, 2002.
8374 days as of today.
6929 posts (including this one).
Average of 0.83 posts per day.
And because I'm vain, 11,503 +1s.
Average of 1.66 +1s per post.
And +1s weren't implemented until when, like 2012? It'd be fun (for me) to know what the average was for only the posts I've made since that time.
Also, I had (at one time) the post with the highest number of +1s, though I think Gonch may have had one since that exceeded that amount.
The scoring game counts photo and news submissions as well, and that was here before vote-ups. Totals on the home page... you're catching up with Gonch.
