I've got quite a few coaster books that were all purchased at my local book store. All you have to do is ask at your local book store if they have any books on roller coasters and they should be able to help you find what you're looking for.As for coaster videos they are a bit harder to find,I would like to find the rollercoaster thrills in 3D the next generation video at my local store so I wouldn't have to order online but so far no luck in that department.

Well, I know a gigantic book about rollercoasters was at my local barnes and noble last spring in the bargain section, and I also know that suncoast video carries the America's Greatest...series, or at least the ones near me do.

B&N here usually has all the discount books up front, especially this time of year, and the most common coaster titles are always there, for $5-$15.

I have found, to avoid the biggest headaches, is to purchase them at www.amazon.com
They always seem to have everything and their prices are quite good. However, if you are under 18 and don't have a credit card, then let your parents order it. Remember to include shipping and handeling.

It is an mail/internet order bookstore for everything coasters. They have all the coaster videos and almost every book on roller coasters/amusement parks. They are great, and the owner is the nicest person you want to meet.
If the book is in the Ingram/Books in Print database, then your local bookstore should be able to order it for you. Also you you ask them to order it for you, they might just start to carry it in their store.
Also try Amazon or BN.com, they are easier for small publisher to get into, so alot of smaller amusement parks books are on there.
Hope that helps!
