coaster trip dropouts?

Okay I admit it... Do to work constraints I had to drop out of my first coaster trip of the season for this weekend (Kennywood and Cedar Point). Joe, my fellow enthusiast, is now going on this trip Solo...

My question is... did anybody else ever have to drop out of a trip last minute and feel like a complete loser like I do now?

I Wish I could go, Sorry Joe...

James, dropping out of the trip does not make you a loser. You have been a loser for a looong time. ;) (of course, I am a loser too, so it negates any insult you might derive.)

No worries man. Ill make sure the trip report is a good one... then I'll stop by your house and watch you weep as you read it.

I had to drop out of my St.Patty's day trip to BGW due to emergency staff shortages at work. I was really ticked. Oh well. I'm going Memorial week, Sept, and Oct., so I guess I can't complain. The darn place will just have to fall apart if this time. I have already refused giving up this one due to severe coaster DT's.

Enjoy yourself. These are the good old days you're going to miss in the years ahead.

I forced a person do drop out. Does that count? I'm not willing to put myself in very akward situations, though.
