If there was one coaster station that could use a makeover, what coaster station would you pick?
My vote goes to chang at kentucky kingdom. This station is just plain....well, plain.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
HP's Comet, BGT's Scorpion, and any other station where either there's no selecting seats or capacity is negatively impacted...
Another station that pops into my head, is riddlers revenge at sfmm. The way the q's are set up is horrid.

Since it just came up in the GAdv TR....Toro's station is poorly designed. Mic'd operators need to constantly remind people to fill in beyond the first couple of rows (although, it does make waits shorter for the back row, so maybe I should stop complaining now). ;)
Shockwave at SFOT, with the queue line that consists of a bunch of ramps, making it take forever to get a reride.

Six posts already and nobody has mentioned the Corkscrew at Michigan's Adventure?

Off the top of my head Magnum's.
I agree, as there is no room for the front of the coaster lines.
Pittsburgh, City of Champions!
Steelers + Penguins
2009 What a great year!
I have to agree with Rideman. Corkscrew at MiA has the worst station I've been in. All that cinder block reminds me of a school I attended in 1960. Even the rainbow arch entrance can't make up for the station itself.
I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead
Anyone else getting a sense of deja vu over this thread? I could swear we've had this conversation before....
I forgot about the corkscrew at michigans adventure.
It's been a while since I have been on it(did not even ride it this timbersfest), and I agree it is really bad.

Any station that does not let you queue up for the row of your choice. Tornado at Adventureland comes to mind first.
I absolutely love every aspect of Kennywood, but they need to set up the Racer and Jack Rabbit Stations so that I can select my seat precisely. It's a pain to line everyone up and fight for the seats and get forced into an undesired seat.
I say redo all the queues that have separate entrances for people who pay more...lol

Any station that inserts people at the front or back of the trains and doesn't have enormous amounts of space for folks to move around is going to jam up. SFA's S:RoS and SFNE's B:DK come immediately to mind (though El Toro's is another glaring example).
I've said it a few times, but SFNE's S:RoS I think has a the perfect station. FlashPass merges right before the station, the line enters the middle of the station, there's plenty of room for the front and back row queues and they are well separated from everything else. The only thing I would change about that station is to make the front row queue only serve the front row and not the entire front car. Other than that, it's the perfect station.

^ On that note Gemini' station left much to be desired when that ride was THE ride to go on at CP. When both lines were open and people were trying to push through to get to the front when they came up the back way or vice-versa. I don't even know if they use the front entrance anymore as I haven't seen it open in a few years.

You have disturbed the forbidden temple, now-you-will-pay!!!
Gemini's front entrance is no more. It's fenced off at the bottom of the ramp and I'm pretty sure that there are queue rails welded in place at the station.

@julie
I doubt there's any hard barrier up at the platform, for fire code reasons.
