Coaster Shows on Now!!

There are three coaster shows on the Discovery Channel starting right now...

9:00 am- Amusement Parks: The Pursuit of Fun
10:00 am- Scream Parks- Six Flags Magic Mountain
11:00 am- Extreme Rides

All three are reruns, but they're goodies if you haven't watched them yet!

It's funny, the woman who did the Viper on ride commentary said that Viper's loop was the largest in the world at 140 ft. Then the guy on RR commentary said that RR's 144 ft loop was one of the tallest in the world.

I hate when people don't know anything.

Thanks for letting us know. I'm watching extreme rides. It doesn't matter that they are reruns, I'll watch them a billion times before I'm sick of them.

Yup,I turned on dicovery channel( channel25 on my cable system) & there it was the closing credits of the first show,I sat back & watched the other two programs though & now I'm all hyped up for opening day,which is just one month & 3 days away. :)

You're welcome guys! It's fun to watch all the "classic" coaster shows again and I remember someone posting about some new shows coming toward the end of the month. I think one was about Dollywood, one about Hersheypark, and maybe a couple others as well. Finally, we'll have a couple of parks we don't get to hear about or see on these types of shows very often.

Ugh.. I missed it! I slept in all the way until 12. Does anyone know when they're airing again?

Here's a list of some upcoming shows I found. It doesn't look like the three shows that were on today will be airing again any other time this month at least. :(

There's still a lot more to look forward to though!

Um, right... The maintenance guy riding The Riddler's Revenge said 124' not 144'. He said it was the largest in the world (and at the time of filming it did have the greatest radius on a vertical loop). As for Viper, that's also true. Except it's 144' not 140'.

Viper's loop is *high* not large....remember, Arrow didn't make large loops then....;). RR's is *large*, because B&M makes big elements...lots of "hang time" in the vertical loops...:)
