As for the best, ask anyone and get a different answer.

Rcdb.com has em for all of America not around the world. Here is a list of parks that have the "best".
Michigan's Adventure
Cedar Point
King's Island
Kennywood
There are lots of others but that would be like my main list.

DOWN WITH TRIM BRAKES!
Well I know CP and Pki have the best but I was wondering if there was a list somewhere except for A+E or Discovery.
I think this is the list for NAPAA.

1. Thunderbolt, Kennywood (My Number 1)
2. Magnum, Cedar Point
3. Cyclone, Coney Island
4. Steel Phantom, Kennywood
5. Megaphobia
6. Raptor, Cedar Point
7. Comet
8. Beast, PKI
9. Steel Force, Dorney Park
10. Nemisis, Alton Towers

From the list Kennywood has the best two coasters then Cedar Point.
I, personally, consider that list a load of bulls*it. Magnum, to me, was much better than Thunderbolt.
That list is outdated...that same list was used on the Discovery Channel Special for 3 years in a row...starting with 1997!!!! They need to make up a new list. Nemesis and Megaphobia?!?!?!? please...Dueling Dragons kills Nemesis, and well Megaphobia can easily be outdone by: Roar, wildcat, lightning racer, villain, etc.

Not to be rude, kOrN, but have you been on Megaphobia? If you have, fine, you're entitled to your opinion, but if you haven't keep in mind it is regarded by many enthusiasts as the best roller coaster, steel or wood, in the world.

That list was released last year so it is only a year outdated. News Coasters just dont seem to live up to these ones.

I do disagree with two coasters on the list though. Magnum because I find it boring and it has no memborable part. Raptor, this coaster is nothing compared to Montu.

Yep....I've been on Megaphobia...although i know many people enjoy it and it is regarded by many people as one of the best....I find CCI's newer creations better.
I especially disagree with Raptor and Nemesis....Raptor is basically batman with a helix and a cobra roll thrown in...Nemesis just doesn't have the intensity of other inverts...including SLC's
Nemesis not intense???? You got a weird definition of "intense"......

Well, Alpengeist and Great Bear are a couple of elements joined by straight track. Montu is overbraked. Fire Dragon is a bit short, but the most intense new B&M.
Here are some intense Inverts:

Alpengeist, Montu, Batman, Any of the Invertigos,Volcano.
Sorry, kOrN, didn't see Megaphobia on your track record. Odd coaster to leave off, though. How was the rest of Wales? I hear it's a beautiful country. What took you over there? How 'bout those sheep?

The reason Thunderbolt is #1 and not
Magnum is because they took the top five wooden coaster and mixed them with the top five steel coasters. Magnum is the #1 steel coaster.
hey spewey,

didn't notice megaphobia on yours
That's 'cause I haven't been on it - I was just noting its reputation. Also, that's why I was asking you about Wales - a dumb question if I had been there ...

ok...just a little confusion there then...BTW I just recently went to Oakwood so i had forgotten to add Megafobia onto my track record....by the way Wales is beautiful.
The reason why Megaphobia is a top notch coaster is because it is considered a classic coaster. It has NO trim brakes through the whole ride what-so-ever. The only brakes on there are for the end of the ride. Plus of its unique location. It's basically in the middle of nowhere. Sheep actually live under it and give it it's own characteristic look.
As far as Raptor being a clone of batman, I say heck no. I've seen the layouts and they are totally different. Nemisis is very different because it is the only inverted coaster that does not start out with a vertical loop. It starts with a corkscrew.
