Coaster Pins

Hey all -

I've checked the old topics and can't find anything on this, so if it is a repeat of something, I apologize ...

I've looked through the online stores of the Busch parks and cannot find pins of the roller coasters. I have 5 from Cedar Point on my bookbag, and it gets a lot of comments and I get to have a lot of CP conversations with random people on my way to class and back and I'd like to expand my collection. Do other parks have pins of their coasters, or is this just a CP thing (or are they just not online?). Specifically, I'd like Busch pins [Kumba, Montu, Alpengeist, Apollo, Drachen Fire (if they ever put one out)]. Anyone have any info to share? Ever seen them in the stores at the parks or anything?

(I'm talking about the metal pins with the ... for lack of better words "pinchy-circle-doodad" on the back ... not "safety-pin-doodad" backed)

Is it about coasters or friends? I say both!

Interesting... When I went to Cedar Point in 2000 I was informed that they did not sell them due to safety issues (yeah...). Busch Gardens Williamsburg does indeed sell many different styles of them, and I have an Alpengeist one and an Apollo's Chariot one.

I have the all of the pins from the four coasters at BGW, had to look a little bit to find them all. I also have a "fearsome four" pin for them. Great pins BTW :)

CCN's forums are now fully operational.

MIA had a Shivering Timbers pin out this year. IB had several pins, but I don't recall if any of them were for coasters.
Indaina Beach, Holiday World, and BGT have them as well.

Thanks for the info guys, I'll check the park merch shops next season!

The BGW pins, last time I was there anyways, were a challenge to locate initially. AC had a pin in its' wonderful gift shop, but some of the other coasters were found next to the Sanrio store in the middle of Branbury Cross(I believe it's called), where they have them by the bin fulls next to the register with the general cheap crap touristy flashlights & wallet things. They have five, like mentioned.

At PKI, the only pin found was for Son of Beast. I was wanting a Beast pin & patch combo, but they had nothing for the Beast but shirts, et cetra. If there's a 25th Anniversary pin I would've loved to find one, much less a regular pin, but no luck. I was suprised, IF any coaster's gonna have one, you would think it'd be Beast.

I saw pins at PKI this summer and have seen some on Cedar Points Web site.
Disney World/Disneyland sells hundred of pins and some pims of the few rollar coasters they have.

Thos "pinchy-circle-doodads" are actually called Dammits. Funny name I know, but something i had to share from my bag of knowledge that no-one cares about. :)
