An inverted woodie wouldn't be impossible but completely unpratical none the less. Do you know how much inverted trains weigh? You would have to triple the support structure and in california quadrouple it to take on the stress not to mention develope a whole new train design it just doesnt make sense. But a floorless woodie is a good idea. Think of shivering timbers with a floorless train.
