Coaster modifications...for the better?!!?

Although the ride itself was quite unremarkable, it seems that the new cars and trackwork on Space Invader 2 (BPB) was an improvement over the cars with OTSR's. I only rode it in 2004, so I don't have prior experience with it.

Schwarzkopf shuttle loops...The most possible fun in 36 seconds.

Good thinking Charles, there were more than a few Dinn & Summers coasters that were improved when they got rid of those awful trailered PTCs. Add the
Texas Giant and Timber Wolf to that list. Did SFDL ever get rid of theirs?

We could also mention the addition of springs to the individual ratcheting lapbars. I'm not sure how many of you remember when the first individual lapbars came out they would drop into your lap when they were released from the upright position.

changing the way the cables were cooled on TTD helped a little.

TTD was built, TTD was broke, TTD is alive.

Morey's Piers added magnetic brakes to Rollies Coaster this season, as they are also adding them to another coaster, probably the Flitzer.

I rode Rollies last week. It was a fabulous experience.
