It looks like I made a mistake in the count-I didn't add kiddie only rides. I'd assume from some of your kids ages those have been counted too. OOPS! They didn't have many of them-only when we'd stumble across one. Once we started taking them to big parks they didn't want to ride them anyway. All of theirs are "family" and up.
They will easily reach 100+ this year. We only went to SFGAm and MIA last year due to family illness. We are going to try to squish 2 years of trips into one. Cedar alone will get them close! :)
A coaster kids TV show would be great-we should at least try to contact the park's local news when all of our kids get their 100th! Maybe notify the park??
BTW--I'm sure I'll see some of my new coaster friends at SFGAm Saturday!!
What's interesting is she keeps inviting her friends to come with us. They don't like coasters, are afraid of them, get sick on them, or aren't allowed on them. So it's obvious the average 10 year old is not into coasters. Especially 10 year old girls.
She also likes books on coasters and films or tv shows on coasters.
Last summer we added about 50 in the 11 days of our Coaster Con trip. They were pretty beat by the end. They both are not just coaster enthusiasts though, as much as park enthusiasts. They like to spend a whole day at the small parks just going from ride to ride and eating. As a matter of fact, after 10 days of small and medium sized parks, they were bored at CP on the last day because of the lines so we left early.
Trekker, I thought that too, but almost all the girls in Taylor's class this year love coasters.
Frank, who is proud to have a Jr. rider! :)

Frankly, Tina, pretty much anyone named Jim is a coaster queen ;)
Hey now....
Funny thing though, there was a point in my life where all the "queens" I considered friends were name Mike or, as Moosh point out, Jim.
Guess who's back? Back Again? James K's back. Tell a friend.
I took a 12 y/o family friend to HersheyPark a few years ago (I wrote a TR about it, but tonight I am way to lazy to search for it and link it here). It was his first big theme park; he was intrigued by all of the crazy coasters and water rides. The poor kid had never even seen a log flume before. It was one of the best times I ever had at any park, because of witnessing his excitment. It reminded me of a time when amusement parks were new to me.
These kids who have been to so many parks and rode so many coasters are very privileged. Some kids families can't even afford one park per summer. Some adults can barely afford one park per summer (raises hand).
I develop Superior Solitaire when not riding coasters.

Welcome back bud! :-D

It's good to be back mate!
Jim
However, I would say that the biggest factor was the new restraints being used!
Jim:)
I forgot about all the woodies that small kids can ride. I like them, but don't really travel for them--exception--ST at MIA) so it is all making sense now! Tall kids do make a huge difference! My daughter is 5'4" at 12 years old! (OK-OK, that's not realy a big deal--I'm 6' and hubby is 6'1"--again it's in the genetics!) I have family members who were too tall for Deja Vu.. :(
