Coaster episode on "Build it Bigger"

If you have the Discovery Channel and On Demand, they now have the coaster episode on the "Build it Bigger" show for you to view whenever you want. Of course I don't know if On Demand has the same programming throughout the states. Check and see if it's available for you to view.

Show includes footage of Sheikra, Gwazi, and the building of Griffon, and Renegade.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

This show aired in July, I remember because I was at Busch Gardens and came home and watched it.

Bolliger/Mabillard for President in '08 NOT Dinn/Summers

IT wasn't that big of a deal since the host was mainly running off his mouth. You only saw a few coasters running.
^The idea of that program is to show how large scale things are built. Not constant footage of coasters in action.

That's a pretty cool show...especially in HD. The episode about the building of the new Arizona Football stadium was awesome. And you're right, the host does talk a lot, but it doesn't bother me. *** Edited 9/3/2007 4:26:59 PM UTC by Hanging n' Banging***

You're thinking of "Really Big Things" which is another show on the Discovery Channel.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!
I don't think I could sit through that show again. I'm sure it was cool to most people, but for me, it was a dragged out hour of waiting for something I haven't heard before.

Roller Coasters...my first true love.

I just watched the Arizona Stadium episode of Build it Bigger. My favorite episode though is the building of the Shanghai World Financial Center, soon to be the world's tallest skyscraper.

Wait, did both "Build it Bigger" and "Really Big Things" do an episode on the Arizona Stadium?

Yes, both shows did an episode on the University of Phoenix Stadium. A bit overlapping, but both are worth a watch. Since I don't have onDemand yet (should have it on DirecTV by the end of the month) I am keeping an eye out for the coaster show. Hopefully it'll air soon!

I am bumping this to alert you Guys that they will be showing this on Discovery HD Theatre this upcoming week. The next airing will be Saturday at 1PM EDT as seen here at http://dhd.discovery.com/tv-schedules/series.html?paid=66.14577.25456.34169.x

If you don't have Discovery HD (for whatever reason) then it is probably still On Demand (I don't give Discovery on Demand but I get 10 channels of Exercise/Golf TV Channels on Demand so I wouldn't know if its still there), if you don't get Discovery On Demand ether then you will have to wait until Oct 9th per http://dsc.discovery.com/tv-schedules/series.html?paid=1.9688.25132.34169.x at 8PM EDT for your chance to watch it.

Anyway I have my DVR set for Saturday as I wont be home and will be somewhere having fun then.

This show was awesome in HD. My girlfriend finds the host really annoying, but I don't. It was definitely better than the average coaster show.
Thanks! I'm watching it now. Looks like a blast.
Much to my surprise I flipped this on in HD last weekend. The show was pretty good and it was interesting to see the building of Renegade and Griffon.
They have been running this program pretty much once a month. On Scince Channel and Discovery.
FYI- I don't know if anyone mentioned this before but the entire show is on youtube in 5 different segments, plus there is a cool deleted scene on the show's official website, shot at GCI.
