Coaster Dreams

Two nights ago, I had a wonderful dream that I was at Cedar Point about to ride Millennium Force. The trains looked like soap box racer cars. It was weird. I got in and the operator asked me if I have been on MF before. I told her no, but I said, "This ride is going to kick Goliath's BUTT!!!" We were off. It seemed like the lift took only like 7 seconds to get to the summit of the monsterous hill. Then we dropped. I got some airtime off of the drop and we made our way through the first over-banked turn. The first half of the ride was the same as the real MF but the second half was way different in my dream. After the tunnel we hit a bunny hop then a sharp left turn to the second over-banked turn. Not a right like the real MF. Then we headed right back where we came from and turned left like the real MF to the little camelback. Then a 540 helix into the station. It was really weird. Has anybody else experienced a dream like this before. Please post because I am interested!!!

I had a dream that I was bout ready to have my First MF ride in the front seat, but lucky me, once I pulled down the lapbar, I woke up.:(

Magnum-Just Ride It!!!

I had a dream that I was about to ride SD2K. But it was huge, like above the clouds. They didn't start selling tickets to it so most people were watching its test run. They finally opened up to buy tickets so I ran to pay $5 dollars to ride it. The thing is, I went up a few steps and I was at the station, The station was at the top of the first hill. It was so cool looking down the drop. I never got to ride though.

Number 1 And Only Cedar Point

I used to have a recurring dream only on the nights I had visited a park. The dream was me on a woodie, and the train would jump the track partway through the ride and plummet around 80-90 feet into the ground, but I would wake up right before impact. I haven't had that dream for probably 10 years or so. I kinda liked it. It was scary and real, but I knew I would not get hurt. Weird.

I had One dream that i was on a very tall wooden roller coaster but right before i dropped the ride dissapered and i fell to the ground,but then it turned into a nightmare.I also had a dream i was at disney World was about to go on splash mountain but i woke up.

I always dream of the front seat of MF, but I always seem to wake up just as I crest the hill!

I had a dream that I visited Magic Mountain(a park I've never visited), and rode Goliath. The line was a walk on and the lift was completely upside down. I actually got to ride it this time. Normally I wake up. The ride was at night and after the first drop, there was a big camel back and then the helix. I was going to ride Riddler's Revenge, but I woke up. The reason why we wake up most of the time before a ride is because the brain is experiencing too much stimulation.

During my first coaster blitz tour last summer (driving from Florida to Sandusky to Pittsburgh to Williamsburg, etc) we had very little time to sleep each night BUT I would dream all the whole time about coasters. Unfortunately, a BIG part of each dream was waiting in QUEUE lines! Talk about a restless night!

Me too Seven of 9, had that dream, but someone woke me up right before dropping.

I had dreams about it before I rode MF.

In one dream, MF had it's layout leaved in and out of streets and building of my hometown. It was awesome. I had everything it has in real life. I think I was taking pictures of it.

Another one was really cool. It was kind of crowded, and all there was a computerized sky like you see in coaster simulations. The catch is, is that there was just one path that stretched as far as the eye could see, and everyone was walking around to no particulare place, and there were little see-through tent-like structures covering part of the path, not much unlike the ones at CP. Well I looked at MF, and It was TALL I mean we're talking 1500-2000 ft tall., but before I could ride it, somebody woke me up. I was upset about not getting to ride it.
Upon further inspection of the dream, I figured out that I was a peep in RCT! I was in a real life mega park, with one long path, all grass, and a HUGE ride that almost no one was willing to ride!

I had quite a few MF dreams before I rode it, but my most memorable dream was one where I dreamt about riding Goliath (I never have). The line went WAY in the air, like an innertube ride where you walk to the top. The coaster was really curvy, and the track had 3 rails, one on the bottom and one on each side. Then you sat in the middle of the V and it was just a light aluminum frame with wheels...completely open (could see through the seat to the ground below) with only a loose seatbelt and railings to hold on to. The ride was insane, primarily because you could reach out and touch the track, the supports, everything, if you wanted to, and you could fall out and through the track to your death at all times. After I finished the ride, I was pumped and rode it a few more times. It was great!

This is gonna sound really wierd, but maybe 5 years ago I had a dream I was riding Shockwave at SFGAm (this was before I'd ever ridden it) and after leaving the station, it does a 180, and I fell out of the car into a bobsled-like track. Then a ride op came over and started yelling at me for falling out. I don't even know why I still remember this dream but I do.

Call me crazy if you want.

I had a dream night before last where I was on a suspended coaster with really small cars , the only thing I can remember is as the train turned and started to speed up the hill , the train stops . Turning around you could see the cars behind racing into you , and as each one would reach your car , it would raise up and stop above , each one above the last . As each car almost slammed into me I could reach up and touch it , only it didn't hurt . After everything stopped swinging I only remember our car being evacuated , and all was calm .

I have odd dreams, like I fall out, land on the ground, and am fine. Or I have to walk the track to move the train. But, sometimes i'm on a ride and it's pretty good.

I rememeber another dream I had. it was 4 years ago when Superman: The Escape was going to open. I was wearing rollerblades and the LIM's launched my blades down the runway and up the tower. I was going so fast I flew off the track. Then I woke up! It was crazy, but awesome!!! :)

I dreamt that dorney got a really awesome launched inverted, i rode it.
I was on GASAM and then i fell out and started flying over SFgadv.
I did dream about this giant *purple* hypercoaster called the phantom, which i think is a subconcious reflection of my concept of a perfect ride... never got to ride that one though.

Also... I dreamt of a drop/elevator ride that takes you to the top vertically and drops you through a high speed helix.(around the structure)

I dreamt that I went on a prototype coaster in which I went down the first hill and into a straight away which stopped the train and then launched it backwards onto a different course. Very weird.

You build it, I'll ride it

I've had multiple coaster dreams, but there are two I've had recently. In one, Polliwog Park, where I used to live built a giant wooden roller coaster, a combination of Shivering Timbers and Colossus. I only looked at it, didn't get to ride it. There were also two space shot towers. Then I had another dream wherein I was riding Revolution. It didn't have the same layout or the same location, I just knew it was revolution. There was an awesome helix over a huge canyon that went straight into a loop. Very cool. Also, there was another dream where I thought I was riding a scenic railway type thing. I was riding on a giant beanbag chair/bed with a bunch of other people and there was a really cool banked drop off the side of a mountain that went into a tunnel, but I woke up before the ride was over. How sad!

I had a dream that I went on Millennium Force, and when I got off it was Goliath. Kinda strange eh???

I have dreams of watching Vekoma Boomerangs, S:UE, S:TE, and Intamin 1stgen. freefalls flying off their tracks. Even though they all really have stoppers

Last night I had another dream!!! It was very short. I found myself in the SFMM coaster storage area where all of a sudden purple supports and B&M Black track appeared. I found out SFMM was recieveing their 3rd B&M coaster - A floorless coaster called The Vulture! Could this
dream really come true? I hope it does because SFMM really needs a Floorless.
