Does anyone know any software that maybe the designers use, or ones you can get a front seat of the ride? Ive heard os something called supercoast, and a nwe thing called rc factory(but they say its like a kid game) Im looking for a more professional program.

RC Factory is ok for ten bucks. It's limiting due to the few pieces of track. The POV from on the ride is pretty good though. Like I said what do you expect for ten bucks.
I did see yet another new coaster game over at Danimation. I forget the name though. New coaster games are popping up faster than coasters now! Decisions decisions, Build em or ride em. :D

Most proffesionals that work for companies get their software designed by their own company.
You should consider asking a design company about what programs they use and where they get their software from.
Disney coaster is a good game. Also I forget the website but it had the program to figure out g-forces,height,and angles. The website is by the person who wrote the book roller coaster physics. I think I found the link on rollercoaster.com
Hope that helps.:)
I don't think he is talking about games! I don't think proffessionals use games to design coasters! :)

Most professional designers write their own software or purchase custom made software. This can cost upwards of $50,000 depending on the company that the software is purchased from, and what the requirement are.
hey, im coasterfreak. why is it logging my email?? i think there are 2 people signed up as coasterfreak, cause some posts that say are by me, they arent.
I said Disney Coaster becase it has povs on it. And Coasterfreak said he wanted to know about software with povs.
I can tell you that Vekoma uses a software package called Catia. For those of you in the auto world, or the Aerospace world, you'll know of it. It runs about 20k per license, and the good UNIX machine to run it is another 10k. Very expensive.
could anyone answer my question, its logging my email, and when i try to login, it says invalid pass, when its right i had it emailed to me. I think there are 2 people signed up as CoasterFreak, cause some of the things in this forum that have been posted by me, have not been, like tha japanese coaster one.
I don't know what is wrong, but e-mail Jeff, or post a topic in the Suggestio or Bug forum to get a direct answer.

I've been looking for something like this for years but cannot find such a thing.
Check out a new game called "Ultracoaster 3D" It looks awesome. Go to
www.danimation.com OR
www.reactorsoftware.com and download the demo. It looks like a really game where you cen design coasters to your likings with unlimited possibilities. It also doubles as a screen saver!
Will "Ultracoaste 3D" be available at stores?
You don't need coaster design software, just a 3D modeling program. I make 3D coaster animations using a program called Blender. It is a professional modeling/game creation program. And it is totally FREE! They just released version 1.8 a few weeks ago with all features. Before that release, you had to buy a c-key to un-lock all of the functions. But now you don't need one, all the features are available when you download it. Some users say it is better then 3D Studio Max, the program that costs thousands. They have a very helpful forum on there site where any question you ask will get answered. Version 2.0 has been released too, that is the first version of GameBlender. But if you are a newbie to the program, i sugest downloading 1.8 first. You will find both of these on the download page. It is a hard program to get use to, i have been using it for over 6 months now and i am still learning. Here is the site:

Byran, How did you get it to work? i I downloaded it and it says im missing something. What do i do?
Did it say that it couldn't find the file python15.dll? python15.dll came in the .zip file. For Blender to run, you need to have the .dll file with Blender in the same folder.
