Coaster cabin fever

Anyone else got it? Man, I'm going crazy here. The last coaster trip we took was over Thanksgiving weekend and right now I need an adrenaline fix!

I was doing just fine until about 2 weeks ago, now I'm thinking about jumping off my roof on to a mattress just for thrills! Just joking!

I've got just 35 more days until I ride Nitro. Oh man can't wait for that baby!

Anyway, is there anyone else who can sympathize?

It's the off-season. What do you expect?

Yea I got it now call me crazy but i got a hair dryier put it on high and cold and blew it in my face and screamed and pretened that i was on a coaster.

Ps. I also jumped up for airtime :)

Really? I just watched the coaster history show and POV's of the Belmont Giant Dipper.

I'm so sad :)

Coaster Cabin Fever is a big problem for those of us who live by seasonal parks. So big that I hopped on a plane to Florida last month, and my COWORKERS were joking "Greg's off to get his fix..."

Ive got it extremely bad... so a lil battery operated fan and No Limits helps me get my fix.... im thinking of adding a lap bar or OTSR to a desk chair soon....

You guys are all a bunch of wimps! I haven't ridden a coaster since June and you guys are complaining about Thanksgiving! Wow you must have one really closeby theme park or you got a lot of money to spend and a lot of vacation time. Please don't take offense to this, I'm not trying to be offensive, but wow Thanksgiving, I would've killed to ride then.

Well, I got to ride every coaster in the Orlando area over my Christmas Break, so I'm not experiencing anything yet. What I always do is watch Robb Alvey's coaster season videos when I get bored or need to see parks.

Also, SFGAdv opens in a little over a month. Robin: Chiller and GASM here I come baby!

There is NO twelve-strep program for this, so you oughtta just give in and move to a region where there's year-round coasting...I would suggest FL since that's where I live, but really, SoCal is THE place to live IMO for the best Wintertime coasting.

I know everytime I'm up in "the frozen north" the one thing I want to do is those Alpine Slides...they look really cool, and MAY help get you through. There's also coaster games, NL, RCT, SimThemePark, etc.

But honestly, my viewpoint must be a little "skewed", cause when I saw the thread topic, I was thinking it would be about suspendeds, LMAO...

No offense taken. I know I'm pretty sad. My wife laughs at me, although she said just 2 days ago that she can't wait to ride her favorite coaster, Nitro! So I don't feel so bad now, especially after hearing you guys talk!

Did I mention, that I like coasters...

About this time in the off-season, I start to get ancy about riding coasters, and I'm handling it much better this year since I'll only be going 8 months without a coaster ride instead of the usual 10 months. But to deal with my withdrawal, I watch POV's, coaster specials taht I've taped, and work on my coaster model.
