I have heard many people get upset when a coaster is "bashed" by another person. Many people have the belief that we should "just get along and like all coasters."
Now many times people will bash a coaster they have never even been on (which is completely ludicrous) for various childish reasons; the coaster is not in their "home park" or whatever.
That being said, I DO NOT like all coasters nor feel that I should have to. I ride every coaster not expecting too much and decide if I like it after a few rides. We pay a lot of money to visit theme parks and I want the best bang for my buck. I think it is ridiculous that some parks have spent LOTS of money on a new coaster only to have it be a junker. Leads me to believe the park didn't put too much thought into the coaster, was just looking to add another coaster to their "arsenal", or were just going after ststistics. Quality is the bottom line, period. At $25-40 a visit to a park I don't have a season pass to, I WILL bemoan any coaster that is a junker - and there are plenty out there.
