Coaster Alley Convergence

Nasai,

I'm actually a California transplant (don't hate me, I got a good job @ Microsoft!) who just moved up here - currently living in Redmond, probably going to settle in Bellevue. I'm more of a lurker than anything - I usually don't post unless I have something constructive to say (or to annoy BaSS or 'Moosh).

I'm anxiously awaiting the opening of Timberhawk - I was actually thinking of heading down that way this weekend just to stare longingly at it, and offer the construction crew a hand if it meant it would get built faster!

Is there a park hopping schedule set up yet???
Boblo - Here's what I'm thinking:

Fri - Arrive in Seattle, hit the Windstorm, go out for dinner and drinks with friends, hotel by airport.

Sat - Early flight to Sponkane ($110 roundtrip), Silverwood all day and night, hotel by airport again.

Sun - Fly back to Seattle, lounge a bit, EV.

Mon - PNE (Coaster!), chill in Vancouver a bit.

Tues - Home.

Bingo, chris! That's what I was thinking as well ;)

Priceline works wonders in Seattle and Spokane...and, if you want to stay closer to Silverwood, try the Post Falls, Id. area, the hotel there rocks!

Nasai: Steelforce is Mike Sterling, one of my friends from RRC. He was in Team Short Bus II for the SRM oddessy last year and is a hella cool dude, even if he DOES work for Micro$oft! ;-)

Bass - I already sent an email to Rob & Mike introducing them to each other. Can you imagine those two together at a park? Now *that* spells trouble ;)

Oooooo... Now this is exciting! Another to make trouble, and shenanigans with? The things we can do together will make the local news! ;)

Chris, I like your schedule. It will be a perfect fit for me too, and I love the idea of Monday at PNE. More rides on Coaster. The only thing I fear is the reaction many had last year, in that they were all so tired, they couldn't enjoy the brutal Coaster the way it's meant to be enjoyed! Gut, meet lapbar!.... as Bass said so eloquently last year.

Nasai - the reason so many people were too tired to really enjoy Coaster was due to the long haul from Silverwood to Vancouver earlier that day, especially after a hard night of riding Tremors and TTerror. With the itinerary chris and I propose we'd have a day to recover.

Mooshie, understood. I was there, you know....;) With the possible ERT on Timberhawk, we might all be really sore, though. Just wait til you see some of those airtime "pockets." Sweet! :):):):)

Right, Rob, but the day at SFEV will be relaxing and even with ERT it might not be an early night. Plus we don't have to get such an early start on Monday.
