Closest airport to Cedar Point?

I want to go to Cedar Point next week and was wondering the closest airport to Sandusky that I could fly to from Raleigh, NC. Also, are there any Cedar Point coupons or deals for a two day pass? Thanks
Toledo Express or Cleveland Hopkins.

If you can find a cheap fair and a plane that actually goes to Toledo it woudl be the best bet. It's small, uncrowded, and best of all right on the Turnpike less then an hour from the Point.

If you dont mind a two hour drive, I bet you could find the cheapest fare out of Akron/Canton airport. They just rennovated it, and I know that they are a on a major price slashing kick. I know for a fact that they fly out to NC......many of the flights we've taken out of CAK stop over in NC. I highly reccommend that airport.

Well, CAK is only good for certain airlines. I have frequent flyer miles on Continental, and do the majority of my flying through them at Cleve Hopkins. Their partner airline, Northwest, has marginal service from CAK (Akron/Canton). It depends on where you are flying in from, of course, but Toledo Express might be the best option. Hopkins is an acceptable alternative. I would check each of them - it really depends on which airline you are flying on and who is offering the best sale where. USAirways might be your best option and offers great eastern corridor service and competitive pricing to Toledo Express.

Do you mean fly your own plane? If so, there is a small airport in Sandusky (Griffing Airport - KSKY) that has a shuttle service to CP.

than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Thanks! I wish I could fly my own plane, but for now I'll be sitting coach. If I do go next week I'll do that Toledo Express one, I saw some $250 fairs, not too bad.
If there was a fair for $250, I'd buy i- Eh, never mind. That is waaay to corny of a joke, almost Paddlewheel Excursions bad.

Well, I used to be able to see TTD from my house, then I moved.
Life's not fair.

AirTran Airlaines served Raleigh, and Canton/Akron. You could probably find a much cheaper fare than $250 if you would wait a little longer and make reservations a week or two or three in advance.

Also, try out the discount airfare websites. I use travelocity.

Is that a Q-bot in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
