"Clipper" swinging ship

Folks,

During my recent trip to Spain, I came across the "Clipper" swinging ship. It was worthy of note because it featured stand-up sections, which were unbelievably good fun.

I have a mediocre picture down the bottom of this page:

Has anyone seen a stand-up swinging ship anywhere else?

Regards,

Richard

What a bizarre concept. Now I need to ride one...

Wow, that sounds like an incredible ride. When you said there were stand-up sections, I assumed they were similar to any stand-up coaster, with OTSRs and such. I can't imagine a ride like this being installed in the lawsuit-friendly U.S., though it would be nice.

With that ride and my beloved King Cobra from PKI, Terra Mitica would be the "stand-up capital of the amusement world"....:)

It looks like a VERY cool concept, but as Vater mentioned, here in the States it would be a lawsuit waiting to happen...

This sig brought to you by Planet Express, providing intergalactic package delivery for aliens and earthlings alike...

I should note that Clipper was at the Feria de Albacete, not Terra Mitica...
