But getting back to the topic. . .what parks did you have in mind to take the Jackrabbit?

Parks I think would benefit from Jack Rabbit:

Quassy, Little A-Merrick-A, Oaks Park, Del Grosso's, Conneaut Lake, and Bushkill are some that come to mind. Liklihood of those parks buying it? 1%.

I also think it would be good for the ACE Museum.

Bushkill came to my mind. It's close by and in dire need of a coaster. Jack Rabbit is a perfect fit for the park's demographics as well.
How about Land of Make Believe in Hope NJ? Its a kiddie park that has slowly been moving into family rides. They have a ton of land and wouldn't have any space issues to contend with.
I often forget about that park. I've never been there but I've often driven past it. I think I'd need to borrow a kid so I won't look like a pedophile visiting!
What about Idlewild?

Weight lost to ride more coasters......90lbs
I think the Rollo Coaster aready fits into the catagory that the Jack Rabbit is in, JR would give the park nothing it doesn't aready have. Bushkill was the first park that came to mind for me too. It is one of the nicest little parks that doesn't have a coaster, and JR would fit perfectly there.

But, I think this all would depend on if JR were even worth saving. It has not been running in several years now, and I have heard it is in pretty bad stuctural shape.

Could be a nice fit at Delgrosso's providing they have the space. They might already have enough to handle right now with the new mouse though.
I'm not sure what condition the JR is in, but I am willing to bet that there is quite a bit that can be saved in some shape or form, including many mechanical bits and pieces.

I understand that DelGrosso's was/is in the market for a wood coaster, so that might just work. Bushkill and Land of Make Believe are also worth looking into.

We've gotten about 110 names so far. We've got about a .0001% chance of getting CLP to keep it, unfortunately. But, I don't think the chances of getting another park to take it are that bad.
