I was down at Clementon Amusement Park and Morey's Piers, and I'll keep it kinda short.

J2 totally rocks! This coaster is deceptively "aggressive", which by the way is the word used to describe the ride in the pre-boarding recorded advisory. From the first hill to the break run this coaster throws it at all at you, a jaw rattling, body crunching winner of a ride, and no, my name is not Paul Ruben. Also noteworthy is the rule that you must be 21 to ride in the back seat. I had never before seen an age restriction for certain seats. Nice little throwback of a park too, the sign at the entrance is vintage I don't know what but it is vintage something, the lakefront setting is quaint and the pool is good place to cool the feet off after a few coaster rides.

Morey's Piers is also a bit of a throwback. Waves crashing on the beach, the sights and smells of the ocean and the food on the boardwalk. And a great crowd, what can I say. Lots of 40 year old grandma's and little kids with tatoos, and you gotta love the fat guy wearing a t-shirt, "Welcome to America, Now Speak English!" He even got all of his friends to autograph the shirt. Hey, you want upscale, go to Cape May or Stone Harbor.

Oh yeah, Great White. Seemed like a good middle of the road CCI with a cool tunnel entrance to start. But I appreciated it alot more when I rode it at night, guess I had forgotten what the night can do. Also nice to get the bird's eye view from the chair lift which runs overhead. The Vekomas were Vekomas, but it is cool how they have jammed them and the other rides and structures into such a confined and dense space. My expectations for both Morey's and Clementon had been pretty low, but I was pleasantly surprised how much fun these parks were.

I agree the crowds at Wildwood can be a little different but I sure had a lot more fun at Wildwood compared to Cape May (to me it's just an outdoor mall with some non interesting shops).

I was also surprised with Wildwood when I was there 2 weeks ago. I wasn't expecting that much but I really enjoyed Great White. And as much as it pains me to say it, despite hearing things about how bad SLC's are, I thought the ride wasn't that bad.

I haven't been to Clementon in years but I have to try J2 since it seems to have been getting positive reviews from everyone so I guess a trip next year is in order.
