Does any one know about this cleared land supposedly behind Iron Wolf? I haven't been to the park in a while but my friends told me they saw some trucks clearing land and landscaping too. Does any one know what this is for. I doubt it's a coaster but maybe an expansion to Camp Cartoon Network? (Gosh I hope not) Please help me out with your information or ideas on what could be going on. Thanks.
Dunno but I will check it out when I go back. :)

Welcome to Deja Vu...home of the world wide wait.
I hope its for a coaster.
They need to clear some out, and put some 4-d coaster or whatever they are called. We need to start the record things again. SfGAm always impresses people!
Just thought I would let you know that the so called land clearing is in the back left hand side of the Six Flags property. The clearing is on a small portion of land that is seperated by a maintenance bone yard, a greenhouse, a frontage road allowing acces to the front of the park from the employee parking lot and finaly by an interior frontage road. The only way that this land would be used for a new attraction was if the park decided to relocate the maintenance bone yard, greenhouse. Plus the parks picnic area is between the park and the frontage area.
Think what you want , but it may just be fill for Deja Vu or something.
I doubt we'll see any new coaster for while, they are marketing the v2 and Deja Vu as making history, so i doubt they will add yet another coaster, but a full circuit would be nice.

I thought there was a parking lot behind Iron Wolf, not cleared land.

There is a parking lot behind Iron Wolf, but the cleared Land isn't there. It is in front of Iron Wolf. If you sit in the first row on Iron Wolf, and when you crest the top of the first hill, you will see where the land is.
Sky whirl, I hope...
That would be better for Navy Pier in downtown chicago though...
You're not the only one JoNoJ27... Well, except for the Navy Pier part.

I would much rather see a set of new flat rides, a giant wheel, and a new food court style-thing before any new coaster.
Let me give you a brief park layout behind Iron Wolf:
First, directly behind Iron Wolf is the main maintenance building. It's a huge warehouse type facility. This holds everything maintenance.
Secondly, to the left of that is the administration building. This houses everything but maintenance, plus employee lockers.
The land clearing is no where near either of these two buildings or Iron Wolf. The closest ride to the land clearing is either one of the flumes and V2. A coaster will not be placed here so don't get your hopes up.
