Clear Cut Competion: IOA vs. BGT

Alright, so I started comparing IOA to BGT, and realized how evident the competion between the two is... or as I see it to be. Lets disect their coaster repituar...

They both have a B&M sitdown...

They both have an iverted B&M(s)...

They both have a dueling coaster...

Busch is building a Jeep adventure ride(Rhino Rally), and it is rumored that IOA will get a Jeep Ride(Jurrassic Park)...

Coincidence? Maybe. What do you think?
And do you think that this pattern would continue, leaving IOA to possibly get a woodie?

Possibly, but remember that IOA is very new and thus still really expanding, while BGT is building on their already solid foundation by getting bigger and better. IOA needs more attractions period, whilst BGT is looking for things more unique than what it already has. Both parks have incredible themeing, and while BGT has the draw of the animal preserve, IOA has the repertoire of movies to lure fans through its gates. The final consideration? I'll go wherever has more coasters that I haven't ridden! :)

Does anyone know if the Jeep adventure ride will be done by the end of April?
Well.. both parks have AWESOME THEMEING. The themeing on Dueling Dragons is, I think, the BEST!!!! All and all, the two parks are just about the same, I will go to either one, but I havn't been to BGT. I would like to go there.

Chances are that Rhino Rally will be open to the public by the end of April since Media Day is schedueled for April 11th.

I'd Rather Be Riding Rollercoasters
IMO, both parks offer different experience, but we all can agree their rides are awesome.

Dayuum, Your HOT!
They really do not compete. BGT is officially certified as a zoo with the Government. BGT also gets visitors from the beaches at Clearwater who don't venture to Orlando. Besides, they are in the Orlando Flex ticket together. There is a clearly different market of visitors that hit Universal and Busch Parks. They want 'attractions', good food, shows, etc. Rides and games are the after thought.

Disney caters to the people who want the total resort experience. No car rental, no fuss, nothing. The other parks get the people who are more experienced with Orlando, like myself, who will drive International Drive, beach it at Clearwater or Daytona, and see the other attractions like the Space Center, Gatorland, Silver Springs, and Cypress Gardens that offer a change of venue.
