Clarification of Universal/IoA

Universal Studios and Universal Islands of Adventure are two *seperate* parks, correct? With two seperate admission prices?

Also, is IoA right next door to Universal Studios? Last time I was at Universal, IoA was under construction, but I remember it being pretty close.

So say your tour bus drops you off at Universal for the day... is it possible to go play at IoA instead? :-)

Thanks!

They are seperate parks, with seperate admissions, and they are right next to eachother.

To put it plainly, you won't get dropped off at Universal Studios...  You'll be dropped off at the Entrance of The Universal Escape, and walk through City walk, a Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island type of place...  The path will then split to the left and to the right...  Left for IOA, Right for Universal Studios.  The choice is yours as to which way you go...  (Go left!)

I'd Rather Be Riding Roller Coasters

Exactly The entrances to the 2 parks are very close to each other. Maybe a 3 minute walk from one to the other.
I got a two day pass that allowed admission to both parks.  I highly reccommend it.  Especially when one park closes before the other. You can have an hour or so at the other park.  It's just a few minute walk!
