City and convention bureau offer up to $300,000 annually to potential Kentucky Kingdom operator

Louisville city officials and the convention bureau are offering financial incentives worth as much as $300,000 a year to help investors reopen the abandoned Kentucky Kingdom amusement park at the Kentucky Exposition Center. The incentive offer comes as Gov. Steve Beshear endorsed a lease deal Tuesday night with the potential park operators — just two days before the Kentucky State Fair Board plans to vote on the project.
