Work on Cinecitta World, Rome's off-again-on-again cinema-themed amusement park, has finally entered the home stretch, and organizers say it is "almost certain" the theme park will open in the first half of next year. The $700 million park is being built just south of Rome on an expansive site originally used by famed producer Dino De Laurentiis for studios built to rival Rome's storied Cinecitta Studios starting in the 1960s.

According to the photo caption....and implied in the article...an Oscar -winning production designer will be designing the rides. Good luck with that.

They've got an Intamin 10-looper with lap bars.

She annoys the piss out of me the way she over does Italian words. But I do enjoy looking at her giant melon, particularly in that hair color commercial.

Yes. You kinda want to shake her and say "Giada, we get it! You're Italian!"

But her recipes are great. I haven't gone wrong yet making one of her recipes.

She even annoys my Italian wife who has spent time in Italy and picked up a little bit of the language.
