A "Perilous Pluge"- type ride called The Red Sea, A boat ride called Jonah & the Whale (with appropriate huge whale mouth as an entrance, and a food stand shaped like a tree that sold apples (though it would have a bad reputation for something....maybe price)!!! :)

I jokingly thought up of a Weather/Storm Chasing Theme(since I am into weather and storm chasing and storms that we have here in Central Indiana Tonight)
Imagine this a wooden Twister named El~Nino(cause it changes is course so many times:)

God Bless Theme Parks!
A New Hoosier Theme Park, Abundant Grace Park, is on the horizion!
As a non-Christian, I wouldn't be terribly interested in the Christian themed park if it's labelled clearly as such, but what about a slightly less strict interpretation of it, say a Biblical themed one? This would be likely to keep hostilities to a minimum and would make it less of a target. This option would give you the advantage of some flexibility in theming and would get people from non-Christian religions to give it a closer look without the immediate thought of "I'm going to be preached to".
That said, the possibilities for ride themes in a Biblical themed area seems like a good one. Thrill rides have been discussed to death (it's a rollercoaster group after all), but that Haunted House (maybe both a walkthrough and a ride through) has plenty of imaginative scenes without even trying, and it would be entertaining for Christians and non-Christians alike.
If you people working on these ideas work on building the foundations of a good park first (multiple types of rides, differently themed areas within the park), and then find a good way of trying to spread the belief and ideals you want while making sure not to offend or turn away the people who will never change their views to yours, I think you'll come out a real winner. :)
I might visit such a place if it was kitschy and hokey enough. I'm not a religious guy, but if it was well done and the rides were fun I'd still check it out. If it takes itself too seriously then it'd be pretty unpleasant in my opinion.
A racing park would be neat - if you build lots of racing rides! Racing woodie a la Lightning Racer, racing Carousel like they've got at Cedar Point, etc. Tying it too closely to one kind of racing like NASCAR is dull though, I really like the chariot Ben-Hur idea someone proposed.

Half of a wild or even mild ride is the theming!!
But I am also wondering how large or small this park should be to start with. I obviously don't want overkill but then again I don't want to have "almost nothing to do" Tough balance.
But if succesful, room for expansion will always be there.
How about this: What type of admission appeals most to you guys. One flat admission, pay by attraction, or pay by certain blocks of time?"
Good discussion guys. Anyone know anyone rich and into theme parks? :)
