Chirstmas tree coasters

I was just wondering if any of you replace the trusted train with a coaster around your Christmas tree? I just finished tweaking out the track on mine and finally having it make the completed circuit. I'll post some pictures as soon as I get my digital camera back.

I've never heard of anyone doing that before. It is an interesting idea...
Here's someone who built an Christmas tree coaster. It somehow doesn't detract from the tree , and looks very good.

Of course , I also hope I learn to make links into one word , like "here".

My wife and I have had a Coaster Christmas Tree for the last two years (time we have been married). We have the K'nex set going around the bottome of it (no loops though...and it runs). Then we have 3 sets of the Six Flags Cool Coaster going around and through the tree. We have around 70+ coaster ornaments that we have collected at various parks. Most Ohio parks are finally catching up to the Christmas Ornament making. CP has I think 3 or 4 out this year. Plus we gotten creative looking for things parks sell that you can hang on a tree :) I'll post some pictures I have some time soon. But yes, it's done, and I know a few other enthusiasts who do the same thing this time of year...it's the least we can do when it's snowing it Ohio ;)

I am going to have to get out and buy one of those Knex coaster kits. This would look great with the LGB train I currently have running around my Christmas tree. My wife will probably think that I have gone over the top.

Lets' bring back Portland,Oregons' Jantzen Beach Big Dipper(1928-1970)Oregon needs some good wood!
That Sierra Screamer is pretty cool. I like how it blends into the tree, the the support structure hidden by the branches. Kinda like Boulder Dash.

To make it come out like this, you need to type:

WOW! Very cool.

As if my cats didn't need another reason to mess with the tree. :-)

Wow... that was a really neat set of pics... now all I need is a tree.... and a couple of sets of K'nex... and some ornaments... I DO have the cat already though...
