The construction of a new Disneyland in Shanghai is finally placed on the agenda. The theme park will be built in Chuansha in Pudong District. It is said that the residents there have already seen the planning chart of the park. The report says the park will open in 2010.

Hm, I wonder which castle they will use... c'mon Cinderella lol. Disney seems to be really building alot of parks lately.
And I thought Iger wanted to concentrate on the existing parks. Then again, this project was likely in the works well before he stepped in. He still could have pulled the plug though.
This might be similar to the OLC deal---someone else could be fronting the capital, licensing the Disney name and paying WDI for the attracitons.
