China to build massive Ferris wheel

Shanghai, China's commercial hub, plans to add a 660-foot Ferris wheel to its skyline by 2005 - unseating a British wheel as the world's largest, the China Daily newspaper asserted Wednesday, quoting a city newspaper, Shanghai Daily.

The Eye never stops during operating hours & takes 30 mins to do one revolution. Guest just simply step on & off it while it's moving. My bet is this one is the same.

Chinese Ferris Wheel looks too intense for me.

Wow, that would have a sweet view.

For me personally I don't think that's big enough. I think someone could beat that 660 ft record if they wanted to.

Ferris Wheels make me nervous...and one at that height? Besides that, why doesn't China go after a coaster record? Wheels are so lame.
