Chiller theming returns...?

Rumor has it that the Chiller theming (fog/strobes) will be returning this year. I have never experienced the theming, that i'm assuming was removed shortly after opening. I've heard that there is fog in the launch tunnel. How are these extra bits of theming, to anyone who remembers them?
Hmmmmmmmm. I rode it opening year and I don't recall any fog. I do remember a loud bang after the Batman train was launched.
I could care less about experiencing the theming and more about experiencing the ride. In more than a dozen visits to the park since the ride was built, I have seen it operate ONCE. There is no excuse whatsoever for sporadic operation of a ride that is now 8 years old. If SF wants to convince people that they have their act together, they ought to make sure that BOTH SIDES of that thing operate on a regular basis.
And I guess since Worlds of Adventure is no more, can we have our batmobile back??

Fate is the path of least resistance.

Last year Robin was operating somewhat consistently, but I have only seen both side open on the same day once in 3 years. I've only been on the Batman side 2 or 3 times since the ride opened, while I've been on Robin around 10.

I agree that before they should get the theming back they should get both sides up and running. Once they do that they should work on the effects. I'd love to go the park and see if 100% up and running.

Thanks,

IMO, I don't think the GP cares too much about both being open. I'm sure from SF's point of view, the theming is much easier and cheaper to put back, than it would be to get both sides running.
I dont get why these rides, along with Mr. Freeze, have such an issue...Speed: The Ride is always working...

...and such

Haides,

There's a BIT more that goes on in those rides as opposed to Speed, as great as I hear it is.
