Chicago's new park

It's not big news because it hasn't been confirmed yet but the city of Chicago has been planning to add A coaster to Chicago's Navy Pier. They said that they would most likely add a Vekoma Boomerang and a S&S tower which would be 150 feet. Do actually think this will ever happen? I think it could happen the future, I mean they do have room for those two rides.

That would be cool, but I think they could come up with something more creative than a boomerang. How about a coaster that goes around the edge of the pier? (I know, thats where sidewalk is, just elevate it.) And if they got a S&S tower, that would be so cool! They need more than a ferris wheel and carousel.

SFGAm Supa Crazy, how do you know this? Are you just guessing or have you actually heard about plans? I think it would be awesome even if they just built a Boomerang.

I doubt they would get a coaster on the Pier, because there isn't much ground for support. But a S&S tower does sound good. It doesn't take up much room, so I'm sure they can find a place for it. But a nice coaster would be nice too.

Navy Pier isn't large/big enough budget to have something like a coaster going around the pier. They could however build a boomerang. That would be do-able. However who wants that. I doubt that they'll get a boomerang. I could see a kiddiecoaster if they did build a coaster.

Navy Pier could make a butt-load of $$$ if they did build a GOOD coaster and an S&S tower. They would get a lot of people from all over the midwest...
